Going Green!

I bought some fine Japanese green tea yesterday at my local health food store here along the Connecticut shoreline. It's called "Sencha" and I purchased it bulk and it's not at all cheap either, but the health benefits of drinking it more than justify the cost, or at least in my humble opinion they do.

It probably doesn't matter, however, about the type of green or herbal tea that you drink so much as that you do drink it. It's obviously good for your health and often tastes good as well. I've found that over the many years of drinking herbal tea I've learned at least a few things about tea and health. Probably the first and very important reason for consuming tea, and especially green tea is "cleansing". Simply drinking 4-6 cups of potent green tea will help you to lose weight, detoxify, and strengthen your immune system giving a tremendous boost to your overall health. It's cheap, available, and simple, and it's probably one of the most overlooked beneficial things which people can do to improve their health. Folks that are looking to lose some weight will be amazed at how quickly they can shed the pounds by simply drinking lots of the tea.
